Thanksgiving Day is a great day to volunteer and fun way to kick off the holiday season at this family friendly event!

Avoid the hectic shopping rituals and spend the morning with Turkey Trotters.  It's a fun, stress free way to put a smile on your face all day!  We offer lots of time slots to fit your schedule and can make adjustments for large volunteer groups.  Every volunteer will receive an official Turkey Trot event shirt,and plenty of refreshments. 

Each volunteer must Register themselves personally to voluneteer.  You can't have someone sign up for you since there's a waiver to check off for the event .  Be sure you pick the correct timeslot that fits your schedule.  Limited changes can be done by contacting us directly through our contact us link.  Thank you in advance for your participation and consideration.  We look forward to working with you and having a great time at our Turkey Trot!

Arrive early to check into Volunteer Tent located next to the stage. Leave valuable at home and please keep textig and phone calls to a minimum. 

Parking is $5 so plan to be dropped off or park by 5:30 am and get a pass when you check in.  No free parking passes will be offered after 5:30am

We have two event days to choose from and spaces are limited since this event is much smaller and we must socially distance and require all volunteers to wear a mask.

1.  Packet Pick Up:  Wednesday, the 26th the day before Thanksgiving, at Road Runner Sports in Laguna Hills from 11am to 6pm   This event will have runners coming to pick up their shirts and race bib numbers.  We'll also be taking late registration for those that haven't signed up for the event yet.  We have 2 time slots to support this event.

10:30 am to 1:30 pm

1 pm to 4:15 pm

2.  Race Day:  Thanksgiving Day,  at Irvine Valley College from 5am to 9am. and 6 am to 10am. Early shifts will help stage the race and expo area.  Later shifts will take care of runner registration and race support.   We'll have volunteers on the course supporting the water station and cheering areas and at the finish passing out medals and refereshments.    We have a few time slots to choose from.

Please plan on carpooling or getting dropped off to the event.  We can't waive the parking pass fee which is $5 per vehicle.
